Banna Strand, Co Kerry is one of the most scenic beaches in the country...and we are delighted to be back for our 9th Annual Beach Tag tournament on Saturday 17th September! And, as well as being the largest Beach Tag competition in Ireland, with 600+ tag players staying on-site in the Banna Beach Resort (10 mins walk away), you are guaranteed a whale of a weekend!

Located 15km outside Tralee, the tag competition takes place on a breathtaking 10km stretch of long sandy beach. Your team is guaranteed at least 4 x 15 minute matches (weather permitting) with most teams also qualifying for a further knockout game, where they have a chance of winning the Cup, Plate, Bowl or SuperBowl trophies.

On average, we get 50+ tag teams from all over the country taking part each year so it is always a fantastic end-of-tag-season blow out!

Once again, we will be taking over the Banna Beach Resort where the 100 4-star holiday cottages will be fully booked up for the weekend by tag teams. With only us taggers on-site, you will meet players from all over the country in the Resort's bar, swimming pool, shop and jacuzzi (!), as well as on the beach for the tag tournament!

And with a bar / niteclub that serves until late into the night (we are all residents!), plus dozens of house parties, we're planning on celebrating the end of the summer tag season with a bang!!!

COTTAGE INFO
Each cottage consists of 3 x Bedrooms (one en-suite double and two twin rooms) and 2 x Bathrooms. There is a large open plan lounge, dining & kitchen area with an open fireplace and a colour TV with DVD or video and audio system.

The modern fully fitted kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave & washer/dryer. Underground heating is a feature in all tiled areas & there are electric wall mounted heaters in the bedrooms. Each cottage comes with its own large patio area with outdoor wooden furniture.

If you want to play in the Banna Beach Tag Grand Finale, you should reserve your team spot ASAP (at no cost) by choosing “cheque” as your Payment Option, and then logging onto the website later with a VISA or MasterCard payment. If you wait until you have all money collected from your team mates, there may be no places left. So if your team would like to play in Banna, register ASAP! 

Full payment needs to be made minimum of one week before the event takes place.

Don’t forget that, if you were captain of a team in a Tagrugby.ie League or Beach Tag Fest in 2015, you will have accumulated Loyalty Points, which give you money off discounts when registering for Banna.

JOIN A TEAM TODAY!
If your tag team is not available to play in the Banna Beach Tag Grand Finale, then why not join another team for the day! Signing up is really easy! Simply choose "Banna, Co Kerry" as your City and you will then see the teams we are putting together for the blitz. 

When we get 6 guys and 6 girls together on a team, we circulate everyone's contact details so that you can arrange to meet up before the event. (Obviously if we don't get the full 120 players, you get your money back - and we will try to find you a place on one of the teams who are already registered.)
