SANDYMOUNT
Our venue in Sandymount is Pembroke Cricket Club, also known as Monkstown Rugby Club, on Park Avenue. We play here from the end of May on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
During the summer, the venue is very popular with local teams who love the on-site bar and BBQ and relaxed environment. This venue typically features mixed social teams and corporate teams from the surrounding areas.
This year we are running social leagues alongside corporate leagues, which are intended for company teams. The real difference lies in the sympathy of the referees and the equality of standard in the opposition.
BALLSBRIDGE
Our Ballsbridge venue is Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club, located just outside of the village at the DART level crossing. We play here on Mondays and Thursdays.
Pembroke Wanderers is a very popular venue, with capacity for 24 teams each night on the club's top-notch pitches. The bar on site overlooks the pitches, making it a great place to take in some tactical analysis over a beer post-game.
Due to its location this venue is popular with corporate teams, beginners, and mixed social teams. We will run corporate leagues alongside mixed social leagues and beginner competitions.
IRISHTOWN - RINGSEND
We play from September to May on the 4G pitches in Ringsend Park, operated by Irishtown Sports & Fitness. Tuesdays feature some of the strongest teams in Dublin, while Thursday is suitable for all levels.
