Ever wondered if tag rugby is for you? Here’s your chance to find out — completely free!

ITRA is hosting a FREE tag rugby taster session at Belvedere Rugby Grounds, Drumcondra, at 7pm on Tuesday 22nd September.

Whether you’ve never picked up a rugby ball before or you’re simply looking for a new way to get active and meet people, you’re very welcome to come along.

Everyone is Welcome

The session is open to adults of all ages and genders, regardless of your sporting background, experience or fitness level.

You don’t need to know the rules and you don’t need any previous rugby experience. We’ll explain everything from the start and give you the chance to learn the basics and get involved in a relaxed, friendly environment.

And there’s no need to buy any tag rugby gear beforehand — all equipment will be provided. Just come dressed to get active and ready to give tag a go!

A Great Venue in the Heart of Drumcondra

The taster takes place at Belvedere Rugby Grounds on Distillery Road, one of ITRA’s most popular Dublin venues.

Sitting in the shadow of Croke Park, the venue has excellent 4G playing facilities and is ideally located for anyone coming from Dublin City Centre or the north side. With good public transport links, parking options and plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants for an after-tag catch-up, Drumcondra has become a firm favourite with our tag community.

It’s the perfect setting to experience what tag rugby is all about — getting active, having a bit of craic and meeting new people.

What Do I Need to Bring?

We’ll provide all the equipment you need to play. Simply wear comfortable sports clothing and suitable runners or boots, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Our team will introduce you to the game, explain the key rules and get you playing, so complete beginners are absolutely welcome.
