This weekend sees eight Irish representative squads competing in the British & Irish Tag Rugby Cup in Chiswick, London. The tournament has run annually since 2013 (save a COVID interruption) and represents an important milestone for both Ireland and Great Britain in the build-up to the 2023 ITF Tag World Cup in Limerick.
The competition sees three tests played over the course of one day in seven categories:
Men's Open, 30s and 40s
Mixed Open and Senior
Women's Open and Senior
The two nations will also play three tests at Women's 35s, with GB having established a team in recent months.
The winner is the nation who takes home the most overall category wins. Ireland is the reigning champion, having narrowly won the most recent edition in 2022 in Leeds.
Games on pitches 1 and 2 will be streamed on the Try Tag Rugby Youtube channel before switching to a free stream on the Rugby League OurLeague app in the afternoon.
Scores and standings will be updated regularly at this link.
