Pig N Porter is back - with one major change!

Pig N Porter is back on Saturday 13th June 2026, and registrations open at 9am on Friday 23rd January. If you are planning to take part, make sure you are ready when registration goes live.

The 2026 event is once again a collaboration between Old Crescent RFC and the Irish Tag Rugby Association, with the support of Heineken 0.0.

This year brings a major upgrade to the Pig N Porter experience. All teams will be based on the Old Crescent RFC site, made possible by an increase in pitch capacity at the club and improved scheduling through ITRA’s Spawtz platform. That means a reformed schedule, a better atmosphere and everyone together in one place all day.

As always, the registration fee covers 14 players competing in the 7-a-side tag rugby tournament, plus full access to the legendary on-site afterparty that evening. There is no price increase from 2025, and fees remain at €600 per team.

All registrations and payments are handled through ITRA’s registration platform. Your initial booking requires a €100 deposit, which is fully refundable up to the payment due date of 1st May.

Affordable, self-catering accommodation will again be available through our partnership with the University of Limerick, with accommodation booking opening alongside event registration.
